I was driving down Hickory Bend Bend recently and saw this front yard filled with amaryllis blooms. Amaryllus are usually early spring bloomers and, as you can see, multiply like crazy.

That’s me in the middle. I am president of Flower Lovers Garden Club and one of our year-round projects is maintaining the gardens at City Cemetery. It is our historic cemetery located on Main Street in downtown Enterprise. I am an avid gardener and a firm believer in civic beautification.
